In Arkham City hearing voices...
Playing through Batman: Arkham City thinking I recognise some of these voices… The Joker is Mark Hamill (AKA Luke Skywalker) The Penguin is the Space Core, the Fact core and the adventure core from Portal 2 and Mr Freeze is pretty much every non core character in futurama - no wonder I thought he sounded familiar. Also I can’t play Arkham city without wandering around the house...

Sat in a pub, on my own. But I’m not alone, cause I’ve got tumblr on my phone… Also my friends turned up, I was just early and needed to kill time.

Stargazing
Watching Stargazing live, amazing. When I’m not feeling ill and its not freezing outside I’m going out with my DSLR and taking some long exposure photos of the sky/stars…

Caesar- Rise of the planet of the apes
Just watched Rise of the planet of the apes, it was excellent. I especially appreciated David Hewitt and the Lucian alliance Guy from SGU being in it. The only weird thing is, due to playing fallout NV whenever they said Caesar I’d hear Kaiser…

My Music... →
My Music: How many total songs? Um… 12,206 according to winamp (but that might have randomly added all of the Harry Potter Audio Book Chapters…) Sort by song title – first and last? First: ”Jane Doe” - Never Shout Never (cause winamp puts punctuation at the top of the list) Last: Zzyzx Rd - Stone Sour  Sort by time – shortest and longest? Shortest: Horrible Theme -...

The bank job
The “meet the contestants” section reminds me of 15 million merits… please say a self contained sentance directly into the camera… It seems Charlie Brooker was right :-/

Stupid trains.
Bloody hate trains. 16:13 from new street cancelled. Hoping I can just get on the 16:53 instead, pretty sure it fits with my ticket etc. Stupid public transport, has to go making things complex.

DOUG AITKEN - BLACK MIRROR →
moneyben: It’s taken me a while to get my head round this, I was going to say that I have no words to describe how amazing this is. In hindsight that is not true, but for a moment there I actually thought it was. I would post the video or stills but it is so much more than that. You have to go to the site and experience it all together, at once. There’s a lot of it, and it seems to continue on...

Black Mirror, Facebook and memories
In the wake of tonight’s black mirror, which was truly excellent, a number of my friends have been bemoaning the new Facebook timeline and the invasion of privacy it clearly represents. As always any change to the layout, interface or way we interact with facebook sets off a thousand cries of - “Why can’t they just leave it alone, it was fine the way it was” Change is good!...

Piano playing
To combat my laziness recently and in an attempt to improve my technique I’m going to learn to play Chopin’s nocturne in Eb. Properly. A few years ago and I would have been able to blag my way through it but 3 years without daily access to a piano have taken their toll apparently. Also its an awesome piece full of lushy romantic era dissonance and crunchy chords #piano
